Event Route: We will start at Historic Metropolitan United Methodist Church run/walk down through our Historic downtown (Broad Street) cross the scenic foot bridge, run atop the levy and along side the Coosa River, back along the Oostanaula river over the bridge at the forum and back to Metropolitan United Methodist Church.

Race Day Details: 5K Run/Walk (rain or shine)
Date: Saturday, October 8, 2016
Time: Race Day Registration opens at 7:00am; Race begins at 8:00am
Cost: $25 adults, $15 Youth, Race day: $30 adults, $20 youth
Early Packet Pick-up: Metropolitan UMC – 6pm-8pm Friday, October 7, 2016
Location: Metropolitan United Methodist Church
700 Broad Street, Rome, Georgia - Additional parking is a short walk.
All participants are encouraged to find sponsors to help raise funds over and above the registration fee to help cover the event costs. Prize given for participant who raises the most.
How to participate:
1. Complete your registration. www.itsyourrace.com,
2. Ask people to sponsor you. There is a donations link at www.itsyourrace.com for donations!
3. Show up on race day! Come to run, walk or just spend your morning with us as we gather together as a church and a community.
Additional Details:
The race will feature professionally chipped timing. All race participants will receive a t-shirt if registered before September 30th. Prizes will be given for first, second and third place winners for men & women. There will be fun, music, and refreshments.
